Our Sharing Philosophy and Team
Based on the premise of sharing, Charitable Profit Arrangement was founded in 2008 to help nonprofits grow during the poor economic climate. After years of struggling to develop more efficient ways of fundraising, Joseph Phillips came to the conclusion that the act of giving was the inherent problem. Giving is often times viewed as cheap sympathy and it forms an artificial hierarchy, with the giver superior to the receiver. This power struggle is detrimental when trying to foster an improved giving atmosphere.
What does it mean to share and why is it better than giving?
Sharing requires humility, to walk with one another, to give and receive with mutual respect and to appreciate our sincere need for one another. Sharing calls for true solidarity, sacrifice and commitment, it promotes deep rooted behavior development in self actualization, self esteem, love and belonging, sense of safety and promotes healthy community development. Sharing will always be deeply imbedded in our human nature and should be a key philosophy engrained in all nonprofits.
Charitable Profit Arrangement is dedicated to giving back to the community and society by offering this product.
